From June 15, till July 5, 2012, in the public garden
in front of Opera and Ballet Theater on Lenin's square,
Novosibirsk is Russia's third-largest city, after Moscow and Saint Petersburg, and the largest city of Siberia, with a population of 1,473,700. It is the administrative center of Novosibirsk Oblast as well as of the Siberian Federal District.
Noncommercial Fund “Siberian Vernisage” has been working since 2001 in order to preserve and develop artistic crafts in Siberia, to popularize traditional national culture, and to develop exhibition and trade fair activity. . Among most notable achievements of the Fund is establishment of a Toy Museum, the only museum of such kind beyond the Urals, carrying out of international festivals of artistic crafts "Artania" (Novosibirsk, 2007–2010), ArtAutumn (2009, 2010), BazArt (2009, 2010), establishment of a craft training center (2008-2010). read more
